The pedeX 01 blue orange balance bike is based on our flagship mono fork and mono-stay rear end frame. We are extremely proud of this model and the attention to detail our engineers and designers have put into bringing it to market. From experience we can see that children enthusiastically respond to this model.
From an engineering perspective, the pedeX 01 blue orange balance bike is a cleverly designed, extra light and very cool looking running bike designed and engineered in Germany. Our in-house engineers developed a mono fork and mono-stay rear end to reduce its weight to only 3.3 kg (7.3 lbs). Additionally, the saddle can be adjusted down so low (31 cm from the ground) that even very small children from the age of one and a half years can potentially use this running bike.
In addition to its unique structure our design team worked on customising the pedeX 01 blue orange balance bike so that it lives up to its name. The pedeX 01 balance bike comes with a matt blue and orange and white coloured frame.
All of our bikes (balance bikes and kids’ bikes) have coated spokes, which typically last longer and hold up in the wet.
The pedeX 01 blue orange balance bike come with custom safety S’COOL reflective logo and extra wide tyres for more stability.
The pedeX 01 blue orange balance bike comes standard with bright orange safety grips on the handle bars. The cushioned impact protectors at the ends of the handle bars help protect children from injuries if they fall. Kids’ safety is further enhanced with the Allen key saddle post tightener, rather than a quick-release which we believe is one less thing to worry about in avoiding injuries with little fingers getting caught. The Germans agree with us, too.
For extra safety we recommend wearing a suitable bike helmet.
