How to make circus letters

I have become quite addicted to the idea of circus letters. There is a florist in Erskineville that has been sporting the word “joy” throughout the Christmas season and at the recent Life In Style Trade Fair Incy Interiors had spelt out the word INCY.

With further investigation these hand made letters each take a over a day to make, however I recently saw a post on Making House a Home that had a clever idea for making a more affordable version.

The blog suggested picking up a generous sized cardboard letter from craft stores such as Lincraft or Spotlight. Purchase other supplies such as string of lights, either fairy or larger bulbs and then your preferred paint colour.

Still highly effective, super fast and very affordable.

Infancy Christmas Gift Guide- Babies

Christmas is getting close! So seriously excited! I don’t whether I’m more excited about the fact that this will be my first Christmas with a baby or that I get a get out of present buying free card! That’s what everyone keeps telling me, but I don’t necessarily believe it. The Christmas shopping still needs to be done and time is ticking!

What fab weather we’ve been having! I am so pumped for a long warm Summer this year! Positively busting to get the cozzies on and get out there! Dresses, sandals and hats- there all on! Tick, tick and tick!

Spring cleaning!

Today I cleaned my first car seat. How exciting! I’m so seriously proud I could jump for joy! Except, I’m really happy sitting on my couch. A good friend gifted not one but two convertible car seats to me out of the blue. Perfect working order, never been in a crash, matching current safety standards- what a lucky girl!

7 years worth of soggy biscuits, sand, crumbs, breakfast, lunch and dinner, coins, toys, buttons and god knows what else, only took me 2 hours to clean off. And both covers were machine washable. How awesome are washing machines!? Proud as punch! They are now both clean, dry and bagged up ready to be stored for the next 12 weeks. Tick!

In other news, that doesn’t include my washing habits, or early onset pregnancy nesting, our Infancy stores are filling up with the most beautiful things!

Spring Babywear!

Lots of beautiful babywear has arrived for both boys and girls! Plenty in sizes 000-0, with some styles, like Ouch, going up to size 1 and 2 years, for those bubbly chubby babes out there.
