Today is Tuesday- Make it pretty day!

Another grey day, another line full of wet washing! I know, I know, I have a clothes dryer. I can use it, but I’m trying to save the planet here! So, this afternoon I decided to ignore the towels getting progressively more sodden, light some scented candles, curl up on the couch with a blanket and turn the heater up to high!

My colleague Holly, however, was busy scooting around our Infancy stores on her zippy little scooter making everything in our stores look pretty. Here are some photos of her travels.

This week's window looks as good as it tastes, Strawberries and Cream! A symphony in pink!

London Buses and Melbourne Trams are back in stock!

It's all soft and cuddly at Rozelle this week, with plenty of Flatbears, knitted toys and Cuddly monkeys to go around!

And she even managed some store transfers for us, despite the limited boot space! What a hero!

The perfect fit!

25% off Ouch Jackets and Vests this week!

Well, another Tuesday, another three Infancy stores re-merchandised for the week. It was a busy day with lots of lovely people coming in to visit us and take home some pretty presents. New stock has arrived including, train sets, pirate ships, dump trucks and wooden ambulances. We also received more stock from Mamas and Papas, so those great knitted rattle animals are back too. Yay!

This week the biggest news would have to be 25% of Ouch Jackets sizes 0-7 years

and 25% off Ouch Vests sizes 3-7 years.

Also, we have 25% off the Skip Hop range! That includes Zoo packs, lunch packs, Pronto Change mats, trolley bags and Duo baby bags. Woohoo!

Finally a sunny day!

My gosh, I never thought it would stop raining! I go to sleep, its raining. I wake up its raining. Touch wood we’ve got a day to dry off! The oval across from my house is like a lake and the children’s play equipment is like a swimming pool. Thank god for tumble dryers! Our house looks only mildly like a 19th century wash house.

Rozelle's selection of gumboots. You never know you might get lucky.

On the rainy side of things, I wanted to let you guys know that our stores do still have some rain gear left. Rain coats from Penny Scallan, sizes 2, 4, 6,a handful of kids umbrellas and some gumboots sizes about euro 25-29. I would recommend calling the store you wish to visit to check what sizes they have before arriving as we can transfer stock between stores if someone else has what you need. Newtown 9565-2866, Annandale 9660-7992, Rozelle 9555-5080.

Last week I reported on some new arrivals from Ouch for girls and here they are. Pants in sizes 3-7 years. Grey cords, pink cords and some seriously stylish slim fit cargo pants in dark khaki. Very grown up.

This weeks window features some of our more old fashioned toys, like Snakes and Ladders, Pin the tail on the Donkey, Pick up Sticks, Marbles, Spinning Tops, Flash cards, Jack in the Boxes, Shape Sorting and good old fashioned wooden blocks. All great activities for a rainy afternoon.

One last thing, I wanted to share, we have a new Baby Journal in stock. It is in the Allison Jay range, and features her divine illustrations! What a beautiful new baby or baby shower gift!

Enjoy the sunshine while it’s here!

I just don’t know how people with real jobs function when pregnant. How do you focus on anything for more than two seconds before you stop like a statue and stare into the middle distance thinking “oh, I have a baby inside me”. I’m finding it quite difficult. Certainly not debilitating, like the constant hunger or the need to nap 24/7, but really really distracting. And now I have a whole CD of blurry photos of it inside me. I must have stared at them for hours last night, whilst shoving food in my face and before I nodded off at about 6.30pm.

See, I got distracted. I’m normally a very focused person. Really I am. I was. Down to business. I’ve got about two minutes before I need to stare at those ultrasound photos again.

This week we have some wonderful new products in store! Another top up from Ouch Clothing has arrived, including the much sought after hooded puffa vests in three colours, pink, navy and khaki.

We also have two more knitted cardigans in, for boys or girls, in navy and crazy green, as shown above. Oh and a couple more styles of trousers, pink cords and khaki cargoes for the chicks and cropped jeans and grey cords for the dudes. All are in sizes 3-7 years, sorry babies…

But for you little ones, we do have a rad new brand of onesies, all the way from Denmark! They are super bright, super fun and super cool. My favourite is the strawberry one, oh and the grizzly bear! They come in sizes 3-6 months and 6-12 months.

We also received a top up of Ouch Pjs, nearly forgot, baby brain. One each for boys and girls and again in sizes 3-7 years.

Ooh! And don’t forget about our ‘Design your own’ t-shirt competition! Get those entries in kiddles! Dust off the textas, pencils and crayons. Get your fingers ready for painting and you could even warm up the drawing Ap on mummy’s ipad. I can’t wait to see what to see you come up with!

Infancy Round Up

Wow! Long time no blog! I bet your all just busting to now whats just arrived on our shelves this week…

1. Old fashioned games have arrived, like Pick-Up-Sticks, Snakes and Ladders, Marbles and Pin the Tail on the Donkey, perfect for a rainy afternoon!

2.  Children’s Brooms. Kids love helping to clean up around the house, in a manner of speaking. They may make more mess in the process but their doing their best right?…

3. Jack in the Boxes. Everyone has been asking after these. There must be some kind of Jack in the Box supply shortage. Here the are!

4. And lucky last… a top up of stock from the seriously cool Rock Your Baby! The striped tees on the right are back, sizes 2-5, $35. And if you’re lucky you can snap up my favourite tee of the season, the masked crusader tee with a detatchable cape! Awesome.
