Just when we thought it was ok to wear sandals…

… It’s back to gumboots. Rrrrrr. Spring.

I’ve been procrastinating. Which isn’t entirely unusual, but considering I’ve had the images for the next blog on my phone since Monday and an abundance of time to type it up, it just shows how bloody lazy I can be. I always find it interesting what tasks I do when procrastinating. Watching Time Team, drinking, tidying (not cleaning), walking the dog, and more often than not obsessively researching things I don’t need, like cloth nappies, on the Internet.

And now I’m procrastinating again, blithering on about me, when I should be telling you about Infancy stuff! Rrrrrr. Young people.

Lavender Dolls House $280

Our gorgeous Lavender Dolls houses are back in stock. Not too big. Not too small. Comes with furniture. Beautifully painted inside and out. It’s also pretty much big enough to accommodate dolls, Barbie, Ken and maybe even a monster truck or two. And for $280, flat packed or assembled, that’s a lot of dolls house for your buck.

Boyswear at Rozelle.

All of our stores now have their quota of Summer clothing including buckets of  boyswear. The sizes available may vary between the stores, say Annandale may have more of the 8, 10, 12 year sizes and Rozelle is the only store with Munster. But if you are unsure about whether a store has what your after, just call ahead and we can try and direct you to the right corner of the Inner West. Don’t forget we can always transfer an item from one store to the other if needed. At the moment the brands for boys are Ouch, Infancy, Munster, More for Boys, Havoc Denim, Freshbaked, Deus, Small Society, Rock Your Baby and Kiniki. I must also add, that you’re not the only one looking for cool boyswear. That’s right, YOU! If you want it come and get it! Sizes will sell out. Avoid the disapointment and do a Layby.

The wait is over! Summer Tip Toey Joey Pre-walkers are here!

Thank heaven for that. I was beginning to loose the will to live! There are plenty of styles for boys and girls, sandals and even some baby ballet flats. We’ve wacked some iphone snaps on the Infancy Facebook page ( http://www.facebook.com/InfancyChildrensClothing#!/InfancyChildrensClothing ) to give you an idea of this seasons look, but I’ll try and get some better pictures asap. Quite frankly, I’ve been too busy gadding about in summer dresses, sandals and sunnies, to really think about doing any work. But I promise, on my new handbag, to get those Tip Toey Joey pics on this blog by the end of the week. How about that for a deal.

Spring in Camperdown

In other news,  isn’t this the nicest weather ever?? Although today did turn into a bit of a dust/ pollen storm. Our staff had a lovely weekend fitting sandals and hats and swimmers on the kids of the Inner West. So much colour! It’s great to see more new arrivals from Purebaby Junior, Princess Ratbag, Small Society, Mini Coco, Walnut, Snugglebum and this seasons Infancy collection.

Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows everywhere!

Newtown's wall amazing wall of toys.

You’re online Infancy correspondent has returned from our freezing National capital! Despite feeling rather out of the loop, and like I’d been away for a month, I am ready to update you with all the exciting comings and goings at Infancy this week.

Everything looks good on this old school ironing board. Except maybe actual ironing to be done.

This weeks window displays at Annandale and Rozelle feature the new ‘Scratch n Sniff’ t-shirts. Seriously fun. Personally I can’t imagine myself wearing one. But if I was 3 years old, I’m pretty sure I would think a t-shirt that had a banana print that actually smelt like bananas on it, was the bestest thing ever! Although, I do remember being absolutely proud as punch when I got a ‘Scratch n Sniff’ sticker from my first grade teacher, Mrs Forster, way back in the 80′s. I couldn’t wipe the grin of my face.

T-shirts. Yum.

I can’t remember whether I mentioned last week, new Freshbaked has arrived, mostly for girls,  also more from Small Society, Flatout bears, new styles from Buttermilk baby and also a few gift sets from Bluebird and Honey.

These sets include an all-in-one and a wrap and come in a cute little bag!

The styles are apples, owls or storks.

Oh, and David Fassenager Blankets! Don’t forget to check out our Facebook fan page for details on how to win a Incy Interiors Reece Cot.

Tootleloo! Off to Canberra!

Just a quick Infancy update before I hit the sack and get some beauty sleep before my big drive tomorrow. I’m expecting it to be absolutely freezing in Canberra. And after such an amazingly sunny day like today, I’m in for a serious shock. I have packed a beanie, scarf, gloves and even stuffed my thermals in my suitcase, just in case it gets a bit drafty in my ball gown.

Bluebelle undies have arrived, if you haven’t already seen the cute pics on Facebook. Everyone’s so savvy these days…

Papinelle bloomers and bibs have also arrived and are our Newtown store’s window display. I forgot to get a photo of it so you’ll have to pop by…

Georgia on my Mind sandals have also arrived… from Greece! If you follow the link to Facebook (above) there are pics of the styles. Blue and Silver. Sizes 24-28.

Have fun while I’m away! Behave. And … if someone could water my lime tree while I’m gone that would be awesome!
