Have I got your attention?

I know… It’s enough to make me cry or wet my pants or both. But it’s no daydream, I see it all the time and I still nearly crash my car whilst trying to park outside my house in Camperdown.

That’s right it’s a man and a baby. What’s so great about that? I don’t know why this phenomenon has such a profound effect on me. I’m pretty gaga over babies at the best of times but a hunk of hotness proudly toting around his progeny just tips the scales. I assume this happens to other people as well?

The particular carrier he is using is a Manduca. And yes he might be a model hired by the Manduca people to make me want to buy one, but it’s worked it’s magic, so good for them. Good news is, it’s an excellent product.

• Easy to use, adjust and get on and off
• Suitable for newborns (it has a special supportive insert) and children up to 20kgs
• 100% organic cotton lining
• Front, side and back carrying options
• Perfect for traveling and days spent out and about

Anyway, what I was trying to say was, before I got distracted by this photo, they’ve just come back into stock. We’ve got black and red.

Check out this link showing how to wear the carrier, or come in and experiment with the one in store.

Run Away to the Circus

Anyone would think I was pregnant, or just plain mad, with all the cleaning and tidying I’ve been doing this week. Fortunately for me, unfortunately for my husband, the nesting bug has spread to my house. Yesterday I re-organised craft, paperwork, the bookshelves, the shed and the sewing stuff. A great achievement, I reckon, despite lying awake late into the night hopped up on a frenzy of merchandising ideas for the stores.

As things slowly get back to normal in sleepy Annandale, Newtown and Rozelle, we’ve gone gaga over a new range of Infancy babywear. You may remember the circus print from a couple of seasons ago, it was a great hit. This year we’ve swapped red and purple for navy and pink. The range includes all-in-ones, and sets of tops and pants in both summer and winter styles. Combined with a matching cotton stretch wrap they make striking shower and newborn presents.
