That’s right… it’s only a hop, skip and a jump till Christmas Day. That means two days left to pop into Infancy and find the perfect gift. Whether you’re thinking big or small Infancy has a stunning selection of unique clothing, toys and giftware for children and babies.

If I don’t get time to post before the big day, I just want to let you all know that our stores will be closed from Saturday the 25th December until January the 3rd and to pass on a big hug of thanks from our Infancy staff to all our wonderful customers!

Wow! Christmas has well and truly snowed us under at Infancy this week, with stock arriving every day and plenty of Christmas rush!

News flash! Circus Tents are back in stock! We had heard they had run out but then just showed up on our door step! And they won’t last long. (Please note the colours on the tent have slightly changed)


News Flash Two! Janod wooden magnetic planes and rockets are back in stock.

News Flash Three! The “This is” series is back again, including “New York” and “London” AND “Paris”.



News Flash Four! The lovely people who supply us the Lavender Dolls Houses have sent us some more, so they aren’t sold out yet!

At Infancy we have a huge range of wooden musical instruments for all ages. Maracas, castanets, tambourines, clackers, drums, music boxes, musical spinning tops and jack in the boxes. The wooden xylophones are always a great hit in store, with kids and adults. They make a crisp sound without being too clangy.
The Mellow Sounding Drum is great for children of all ages. These drums are made in Australia, have a rubber top and come with two sticks. But they are also perfect for hand drumming, drumming while marching and rolling along the ground.

Just home from a busy day of distributing stock between our three stores. I must look like some kind of hard working pack horse, carrying bags my own weight yet determined to wear flats instead of sneakers.

We’ve just received a bundle of new stock including, Wheely Bugs, twirling ribbons, French knitting kits, mini animal bowling sets, jack in the boxes and Kido stacking ducks.

That and we were featured in the Sun Herald’s Christmas gift guide! Our Radio Flyer Classic Tricycle made an appearance, as well as our Allison Jay illustrated books. As a result of that, I’ve just shipped a whole pile of them off to their new homes. Some budding little cyclists are going to be very happy this Christmas.

We’ve gone pink at Infancy this week, and not just from the heat! Our Chirstmas window displays are filled with a stunning selection of toys and gifts for that special little someone.

The Lavender Dolls House (due back this week), Pebble Crochet tea sets and cupcakes, Princess Cardboard Castles, and a trillion pink hair accessories, all make an appearance.And at our Rozelle Store a pink and purple Speedster ride on car!

Sleep Tight with a Zzzoolight!

A stampede of Zzzoolights have arrived at Infancy this week.

Made from polypropylene sheet, and designed by Italian architect, Ramin Razani, these white lamps are virtually unbreakable. Zzoolights do not warm up, are low voltage and are a perfectly safe lamp for your child’s night-light. Or a stylish addition to any room, even yours!

Don’t forget the other species of night-light, Gimmo! These lights have become a bit of an Infancy staple as they are cute, safe, come in a range of different animals, rechargeable and portable.
