French Bull Making Meal Time Fun

FRENCH BULL’s debut in January of 2002 marked the return of melamine but with a modern spin. The classic material known for it’s durability and striking color was given a makeover boasting the bold pop culture signature style of designer Jackie Shapiro.

After graduating from Parson’s School of Design majoring in fashion, Jackie landed in Italy, working for Milan’s innovative fashion house, Fiorucci. It was here where she began breathing life into familiar images with her graphic style grounded in color and steeped in imagination.

The idea for French Bull came about by a desire to create homeware products for design conscious consumers at accessible prices. Though the line began with melamine kitchen products, French Bull is a lifestyle brand whose boundaries have become as limitless as the spectrum of color it works from.

Melamine itself is resistant to high heat, shatterproof, and an ideal ground for pattern. The durability and functionality of the material is perfect for indoor or outdoor entertaining, everyday use and is completely safe for children.

Sing, listen, and create! Music can be a wonderful learning tool for children that helps develop mental processes and has great educational value.

Creative play provides your child with the lifelong benefits of fun and laughter. Music- based play, in particular, can help your child develop language and listening skills, as well as problem-solving skills and spatial awareness.

Using musical instruments with your baby encourages the development of key motor skills, such as the fist grasp. Reaching for and picking up instruments also helps your baby to develop hand-eye coordination as well as strength, balance and agility.

Creating music together with an instrument is a positive and joyful experience for you both to share, enhancing your child’s emotional well-being. Making music encourages self-expression and self-confidence, and is particularly important for infants who are unable to talk. Making music is a wonderful medium for your baby to communicate a thought or a feeling.

A musical instrument doesn’t have to be expensive. If you can shake it, bang it, roll it or rattle it, and it makes a noise – you can call it an instrument!
